6/11/09 DOWNTOWN BOZEMAN PRESENTS - DOWNTOWN BOZEMAN ARTWALK 2009 The Downtown Bozeman Association, Downtown Bozeman art galleries and participating downtown businesses are proud to present this summer’s Downtown Bozeman ArtWalks. The ArtWalks occur on the 2nd Friday of the month June through September from 6 to 8PM in Downtown Bozeman. The galleries feature artists’ openings and receptions and often provide complimentary hors d’oeuvres and refreshments.
This year’s sponsors include The Bozeman Daily Chronicle, KMMS AM 1450, 95.1 “The Moose”, Insty Prints, First Security Bank and Hatchfest. The dates for this year’s ArtWalks are: June 12th, July 10th, August 14th, and September 11th.
5/27/09 DOWNTOWN HEALING CELEBRATION TO BE HELD MAY 31 The Downtown Bozeman Partnership announces a Healing Celebration to be held on Sunday, May 31, in response to the explosion that occurred on March 5, 2009. The Celebration will begin with Healing Walks, starting at 4:00pm in several designated City parks led by the Gallatin Valley Land Trust. These processions will provide neighbors and friends the opportunity to walk downtown to the gathering. The Gallatin Valley Interfaith Association will conduct a Healing Celebration at 4:30pm. The event will take place outdoors on Main Street at the site of the tragedy. click here for more information
5/19/09 DOWNTOWN BOZEMAN PARTNERSHIP PRESENTS ANNUAL AWARDS The Downtown Bozeman Partnership presented three awards at the 4th Annual Downtown Breakfast held Thursday, April 16, 2009. The awards included the Downtown Cornerstone Award, the Downtown Community Award and the “Life is Downtown” Award. The nominees and recipient for each award were selected by the Downtown Bozeman Association board, Business Improvement District board and Tax Increment Finance board. read more >>
4/13/09 DOWNTOWN PARKING GARAGE OPENS! Bridger Park, the new downtown parking garage, opened for business on April 13, 2009. This “multi-modal” transit facility features 435 parking spaces, the downtown hub of the Streamline public bus system, and 7 commercial spaces that will be home to professional services, retail and restaurant businesses. Bridger Park offers a sheltered, safe parking option that’s centrally located in Downtown Bozeman, only a half block from Main Street. The facility is located on East Mendenhall Street between North Black Avenue and North Tracy Avenue. Parking from 8:00am to 8:00pm Monday through Saturday is $0.25 per half hour with a $5.00 daily maximum. Parking is free on Sunday and during Holidays.
