Mardi Gras Celebration

We are proud to announce the first Mardi Gras Celebration in Downtown Bozeman! First, from Tuesday, February 14th through Tuesday, February 21st (Fat Tuesday), 10 downtown retailers are hosting a Mardi Gras Scavenger Hunt. There will be beads, masks and coins to collect along way and Mardi Gras fun at all participating businesses. Grab a scavenger hunt card at any of the participating businesses or bars listed below or print one out online. Then, stop into all of the participating retailers and receive a “stamp” to enter into a drawing for a “downtown gift basket” valued at over $750 while gathering Mardi Gras paraphilia for the Fat Tuesday Celebration!
Then, on Tuesday, February 21st join in the fun for the Fat Tuesday Celebrationand Pub Crawl from 5pm to 11pm. Again, grab a card at any of the participating businesses or bars listed below or print one out online. Then, stop into all of these bars and pubs on Fat Tuesday only and receive a “stamp” and enter into a drawing for $1000 in Downtown Dollars that can be used anywhere downtown! There will be live music and specials at every stop along the way!

We are rolling out the red carpet for brides, grooms and their entourage in Downtown Bozeman! Stroll Main Street and discover over 30 participating businesses that can help you with all of your wedding needs. Find everything from dresses, rings, invitations, flowers, gift registries and more. See live classical music, partake in wine, cake, and hors d’oeuvre tastings along the way, and have the chance to win many in-store giveaways and raffles and much more! Also, find out how to win a $500 gift certificate to be used at any of the participating businesses.

Bozeman Clean-Up Day

The City of Bozeman and MSU invites Bozeman residents to participate in Bozeman Clean Up 2012 on Saturday April 21, 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM by meeting at Bogert Park. Since 1989, Bozeman community groups and citizens have removed thousands of tons of trash from the streets of Bozeman during the spring Clean Up Bozeman event.
Volunteers will meet at Bogert Park in Bozeman starting at 8:30 a.m. for supplies, maps, coffee and snacks (travel mugs encouraged!). After collecting waste and recyclables, volunteers are invited to return to the Bogert Park for a post cleanup party featuring free food for volunteers, live music, raffle prizes, and a showcase of local businesses and organizations who support a sustainable Bozeman.

Art Walks

Montana Pride Celebration

The Downtown Bozeman Association is proud to presents the 12thAnnual Music on Main summer concert series this summer in Historic Downtown Bozeman. Music on Main will be located on Main Street from Rouse Avenue to Black Ave. The fun will last from 6:30 PM till 8:30 PM on Thursday evenings from July 5 through August 23.
First, bring the kids from 6:30 PM to 8 PM for planned activities from Face Painting with First Security Bank and the Children’s Museum, to fun with Montana Outdoor Science School, Big Time Inflatables, Cryssy’s Characters and more near First Security Bank. Grab a bite to eat from one of our food vendors that will be located along the south side of Main Street east of the Bozeman Avenue intersection, stop by some of our local non-profit booths for information about their great organizations or step into a few of the Downtown stores that stay open late!
Then, music begins at 7:00 PM and lasts until 8:30. The 2012 line-up and music samples will be available in late spring on our website at http://downtownbozeman.org/musiconmain.html ....check it out!!!

MSU Community Cat Walk
