Art Walks

The Downtown Bozeman Association, Downtown Bozeman art galleries, and retailers and the Emerson Center for Art and Culture are proud to present this summer’s Downtown Bozeman ArtWalks. The ArtWalks occur on the 2nd Friday of the month; June through September and again for our “Winter” Art Walk in December from 6 to 8PM in Downtown Bozeman. The businesses and galleries generally feature artists’ openings and receptions during the event and often provide complimentary hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. The 2013 Art Walk dates are: June 14, July 12, August 9, September 13 & December 13.

Music on Main

The Downtown Bozeman Association is proud to present the 13th Annual Music on Main summer concert series this summer in Historic Downtown Bozeman. Music on Main will be located on Main Street from Rouse Avenue to Black Ave. The fun will last from 6:30 PM till 8:30 PM on Thursday evenings from June 27to August 15.
Bring the kids from 6:30 PM to 8 PM for planned activities in front of First Security Bank. Grab a bite to eat from one of our food vendors that will be located along the south side of Main Street east of the Bozeman Avenue intersection, stop by some of our local non-profit booths for information about their great organizations or step into a few of the downtown stores that stay open late! Then, music begins at 7:00 PM and lasts until 8:30pm.

MSU Community Cat Walk

Join us for the Montana State University Cat Walk on Friday, Aug. 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. MSU President Waded Cruzado, Champ, the MSU Spirit of the West Marching Band and other MSU representatives and community members will make their way down Main Street and through the Mall to create some “Bobcat Buzz” throughout the community by visiting businesses and stores, playing the fight song and passing out Bobcat gear, schedules and Bobcat window decals along the way. Heading into our 4th year, the MSU Cat Walk has already become a “cannot miss” community tradition!

There will also be free hot dogs and refreshments, Bobcat gear thrown into the crowd and some amazing prize packages raffled off throughout the event! So, come downtown to the MSU/Downtown Homecoming Pep Rally and show your Bobcat spirit! Go Bobcats!!

32nd Annual Christmas Stroll

Be a part of Downtown Bozeman’s greatest holiday tradition…the Christmas Stroll. Always on the first Saturday in December, come downtown to officially kick-off the Holiday Season! First, Santa Claus works his way from the Emerson Cultural Center down Main Street, singing Christmas carols and lighting the downtown holiday lights with more than 6,000 people in tow to help get people into the holiday spirit. Then enjoy horse drawn wagon rides, pictures with Santa Claus, entertainment, holiday treats and much more! The fun lasts until 7:30PM. Buttons will be available for purchase after Thanksgiving at various Bozeman locations. The full schedule of events will be available online at www.bozemandailychronicle.com or as a printed publication inserted into the daily paper and available at many downtown locations on the Friday prior.
