HATCHfest
2008 Dates are October 1st – October 4th.

The mission of HATCH is to provide mentorship, education, inspiration, and recognition to the next generation of creative innovators. HATCHfest is a 501 (c)3 non-profit. The 4 day event takes place on the first weekend in October and during the week they showcase world premier films, music and art with featured panel discussions and workshops in film, music, design, writing and architecture. Montana State University Parent’s Weekend
2008 Dates are Friday, October 17th through Sunday, October 19th.

Every year the Parent/Family Association of MSU sponsors a weekend event for the parents and families of MSU students, which generally takes place the 3rd weekend in October. Typically over 800 people attend this popular event, which provides parents and families with the opportunity to explore MSU and the Bozeman community. This year several activities are available to parents and families, including the Rendezvous dinner on campus, a Bobcat football game, a rafting trip, a tour of the Museum of the Rockies, and a scavenger hunt through downtown Bozeman. Be a part of Downtown Bozeman’s greatest holiday tradition…the Christmas Stroll. On the first Saturday in December at 4:30PM Santa Claus works his way from the Emerson Cultural Center down Main Street, singing Christmas carols and lighting the downtown holiday lights with more than 6,000 people in tow as Bozeman's annual Christmas Stroll gets people into the holiday (shopping) spirit. Enjoy horse drawn wagon rides, pictures with Santa Claus, entertainment, holiday treats and much more! The fun lasts until 7:30PM.

Art Walks occur on the second Friday of the month June through September from 6 to 8PM at art galleries and businesses displaying artwork located along Main Street and at the Emerson Center for Arts and Culture. The galleries feature artists’ openings and receptions and often provide hors d’oeuvres and complimentary refreshments. Also, keep an eye out for local musicians playing music as your stroll Main Street in Downtown Bozeman.

The Gallatin Valley Farmer’s Market is every Saturday from the 3rd week in June through the 2nd week in September and runs from 9-noon. Every thing sold at the market is homemade or homegrown. Cruisin’ on Main” Annual Car Show

The annual car show is located on Main Street between Black and Rouse Avenues. The show will last from 9AM till 3PM on the 3rd Sunday in August. Car enthusiasts are invited to enter their vehicles in the show – all classes are welcome! You may pre-register or register the day of the show. Dash plaques will be given to the first 50 cars to register and trophies will be awarded in all classes including Best of Show.
