Chris Naumann

Executive Director

Chris Naumann became the Executive Director of the Downtown Bozeman Partnership in May of 2007. Previously, he served as a member of the downtown Tax Increment Finance board from 2005 to 2007. From 1995 to 2009, Chris and his wife, Laura, owned and operated Barrel Mountaineering, an outdoor store located on Main Street in historic downtown Bozeman. Born in Evanston, Illinois and raised in Jefferson City, Missouri, Chris received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Geologic Sciences in 1991 from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. After several mountain adventures in Asia, Chris settled in Bozeman back in 1993.

Program Director

Ellie Staley has been the Program Director at the Downtown Bozeman Partnership since February of 2006. She grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and received her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Environmental Science at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and moved to Bozeman in 2000. Her past experience in event coordinating, sales and management has included working at the following local businesses, Gallatin Gateway Inn, Boodles, and West Paw Design. She has a deep love for the downtown Bozeman community, and plans to raise a family and reside in Bozeman with her husband John for years to come.

Jessica Edelen
Operations Manager

Jessica Edelen is the Operations Manager for the Downtown Bozeman Partnership, beginning in August, 2011. A Bozeman native, she graduated from Montana State University in 2011 with Bachelor degrees in both Liberal Studies (Global Multicultural Option) and English Literature. She has been involved with the Downtown Bozeman Association since 2008 as the event assistant as well as an office assistant. She enjoys exploring the Gallatin and surrounding Valleys throughout Montana’s turbulent seasons with her dogs and is thrilled to continue to grow with Downtown Bozeman.
